Slice and Dice Quilt

This is one of my most popular video tutorials! It is also a favorite quilt of mine. This unique way of sewing and cutting the fabric will make this one of your favorites, too!

Crazy Quilt

This is my personal favorite! This was SO much fun to put together! This does use a template set from Creative Grids, but you could easily adapt this into a free-form crazy quilt if you wanted to.

Simple Four-Patch Quilt

You will LOVE how quick it is to make 4-Patches using the method in this video. Bonus: I have a free downloadable pattern for this one, too! Click HERE or on the image to watch the video tutorial. Click HERE to read the blog.

Theme-Patch Quilt

Although these projects are all easy and fun, this is the quilt possibly the easiest. I love this quilt because it highlights the fabric. It is perfect for collections that have a lot of those wonderful themed prints. As you can see, I used a camping-themed fabric in this one, but you really can use any fabric line to get a wonderful effect.

What Is A Fabric Layer Cake?

The term Layer Cake actually belongs to the fabric company Moda, but over the years, layer cake has become synonymous with bundles of fabric, usually from the same fabric line or collection, that contain around (42) 10” fabric squares. Other companies call these bundles different things. For example, they can be called Stackers, Tiles, 10 Karat Crystals, and more. Either way, they are all basically the same thing: a collection of 10” squares.

Happy Quilting!
