June Quilting Goals Update
It is officially summer, which means yard sale season is in full swing, the gardens are blooming, and we are halfway through the year! This month, preparation for our upcoming Christmas in July event turned my usual schedule upside down, but the quilting didn't stop. From clearing out fabric panels for a much-needed iPad pouch to cataloging two amazing new antique quilts, June was full of twists, turns, and a few "whomp-whomps." Intrigued? A three-day quilt retreat, 113 cataloged quilts, and a massive walking-foot quilting breakthrough! May was a highly productive (and beautifully messy) month for my quilting habits. Lessons From an Old English Paper Pieced Quilt
In this installment of Lessons from an Old Quilt, we will take a look at this amazing Vintage Scrap Quilt that was made using the EPP (English Paper Piecing) piecing method. The pattern is made up of hexagons and have 79 blocks in all, with a total of 879 pieces! It is from the 1930s/1940s and is just scrappy and beautiful!

December has been a crazy month! Along with all the holiday goodness, I also found some time to make some quilting and sewing projects like a tote bag, small totes, a journal cover, and even some stockings for my kids. I worked on my Forever Project (Cathedral Windows) and other odds and ends in my sewing room.
